  • Intervals of one-time or on-going; determined based on your need
  • Includes surface pre-cleaning to remove biofilm
  • EPA approved disinfectant applied to high-touch surfaces according to product label directions and CDC recommendations.
  • Examples of high touch surfaces are doorknobs, handles, light switches, kitchen appliances, tables, counters, phones, keyboards, desk surfaces, meeting room touch screens, remote controls, etc.

  • Includes surface pre-cleaning to remove biofilm
  • EPA approved disinfectant applied to entire suite according to product label directions & CDC recommendations. Methods used could include hand application, electrostatic sprayer, ultra-low volume sprayer, and/or fogging.
  • ATP testing performed after application. Readings & interpretation provided upon completion. This measures residual organic matter that may remain after a surface, device or piece of equipment is cleaned.

  • EPA approved disinfectant applied to entire suite according to product label directions & CDC recommendations. Methods used could include hand application, electrostatic sprayer, ultra-low volume sprayer, and/or fogging.
  • A semi-permanent biostatic nanocoating is applied using pressurized electrostatic sprayers.

Disinfectants

Precleaning is essential and arguably the most important step when disinfecting. Microbes & viruses can live beneath the surface of a biofilm and if the biofilm is not removed first, the disinfectants effectiveness can be greatly reduced. Just coming in and spraying the room does not effectively disinfect.  A disinfectant MUST be allowed time to dwell on a surface. A products efficacy (kill rate) is much lower if not allowed to dwell. The CDC and product manufacturers recommend a dwell time, which can be up to 10 minutes.

ATP Testing

Adrenosine triphosphate (ATP) is an energy molecule found in all plant, animal and microbial cells.  The detection of ATP on a surface therefore indicates the presence of living biological matter.  Measuring the amount of bioluminescence from an ATP reaction provides a good indication of surface cleanliness.
